Wall Street Mint 1 oz "Remember 9-11"
 
I was just looking at silver over at ebay and found this listing:

I have never seen or heard of this round. I'm not sure I'm ready to buy from a user called AssTyme :shocked_ma: but I was wondering if any of you have seen these rounds anywhere else:

The foundation building the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation has turned down a $30,000 donation from a company minting a 9/11 coin.
The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation turned down a $30,000 donation from the National Collector�s Mint, according to the New York Post.
�We weren�t comfortable (with the donations) because of the history,� a foundation spokesman said.
The Collector�s Mint ran ads offering coins made from silver allegedly found at Ground Zero. Former New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer fined the company for claiming to have minted coins made of pure silver. The company has offered two different coins in recent months, one of depicting The Freedom Tower and another called the 2001-2006 Commemorative Coin.

I think you are thinking of the company that had ads on TV and the towers flipped up from the coin. These are just generic rounds like the Wall Street Mint bars. I would investigate further of course before taking my word for it.

I heard somewhere that Lucky Larry Silverstein was selling special, commemorative structural steel plugs; with the towers on one side and his own image on the other. A kosher bargain at $1000 dollars each.

Hadn't seen these. I like the Wall St. 10's and had never seen this. This would be a nice addition.
